To send an Email with the Quote or Invoice attached as a PDF instead of DOC.
You must be running Word 2007 on your PC.
You must download and install the add-in to save files in Word as PDF. (use Word help to find add-in)
You must have the AVAIL email option.
In AVAIL select print work order and press F5-Email, select W to send
to Word. Enter the order number, when Word opens with the quote formatted
click the Office Button (upper left), select Save AS, select PDF or XPS,
and click the Publish button. The file name must stay em_merge. Answer
to replace existing file if prompted.
Close Word, press left arrow twice to close window. At question "If you
saved the document as PDF enter P otherwise D (P/D)" enter P and press enter.
This will drop you into the email body with the Quote attached as a PDF.
CAUTION:
If you answer P to the question and did not save the document as a PDF in
Word, it will attach the last quote you did save as a PDF to this email.
